Default wheel offset??

are zr2 wheels a different offset or is it the axles that are at a different spacing?
i want to have mine the same width as a zr2 and im probably going aftermarket with the rims so get that spacing that i want.
so to have the lip of the rim flush with the body what offset would i need?

ZR2's have the same backspacing as non-Z's. The track width is about 4" wider on ZR2's, so if you want the same width as a ZR2 get some rims with 4" of backspacing.

Though, you may end up with some rubbing issues up front.

thank you for the reply.

ok then here is a question...
i read in another post that the 2wd is 1.5 backspacing different.
but i also read in another thread that someone put 2wd rims on his 4x4 and they stuck out even further.

Correct, with 2wd wheels they will stick out 1.5" more than the 4wd rims.
