Exclamation Wheel size and tire help, 2002 blazer

I want new rims and tires for my blazer. Im having alot of trouble understanding what will work and what wont. Will a 15 x 8 rim with a 2 inch BS work on my truck, all stock no body lift. I want to put 30' or 31' tires on. Will it work without rubbing? If It wont, will it work with a 2' body lift? Because I can put one on it to make it work, in fact I am going too. I just want to put the rims and tires on first because Im badly in need of new tires. If the backspacing is too much, would it work with 3 or 4? Any help is appreciated. Im pretty new to this, Im only 16 so please dont think im stupid if this is wrong. Haha Thanks.

That helps with the largest tire I can fit, but What about the width and backspace of the rims I want? Will they fit 30 inch tires without rubbing? Should I just go with 15x7 like the stock rim with a 2 inch BS, or can I go 8'?

Just stick with 15x7 with as close to 6" BS as possible. Most of us run aroun 4-4.5 BS cause thats what most aftermarket rims come with. Don't go larger than a 30" tire unless you want to do the BL or a tbar and shackle tweek (please search to find out what that means) right away or you will be rubbing everywhere.

Thanks so much, I looked up the shackle and torsion bar tweaks, I think im gonna go with 15x7 with a 4 inch backspace and 30' tires. I'll prolly give it a 2 inch lift as well. Sorry about 2 threads, Im new to this forum stuff.

@ KidBlazer - Sorry.. I hate to be that guy, but I guess I'm that guy.
It's --> " <-- for inch/inches, and --> ' <-- for foot/feet. So it's 30" tire, not 30' tire (that's one hell of a tire).

Good luck with your venture!
