Default Yep, time has come!

My BFG tyres no longer grip well in the wet despite still 5mm tread.
Seems the rubber has got hard & just doesn't stay on the road. Whenever I pull off in wet I just get wheelspin & I'm not gubnning it either.

So, this is what I'm looking at - if it'll fit without a lift or cutting into anything.

Bridgestone 694's 235/75R 15

Well, I believe they will fit as far as not rubbing, etc as they are the same size tire on my truck. But the description says ideal for large sedans and station wagons. Just a thought though.

Maybe consider some small truck/ suv tires like the BFG all terrain? They are a great all around tire and they look bigger then they actually are due to the semi-aggresive tread!!

Sorry, if you click on the 4x4 tyre it takes you over the page & shows the 694 is for all terrain use.

It's highly recommended here & is a good compromise with a quiet ride on highway.

Best for 80% road & 20% off road use. That's me.

I'kll look for a set of used off raod/mud tyres to fit to my spare set of rims & when I go off roading I'll swap wheels.

235/75r15 will fit without rubbing unless you have wheels with some wierd back spacing. that's the size i had on before i had a lift. I have pics of them on my profile if you want to see how they will look.

i don't understand kiwi, this is the factory size tire, why would you think it's going to rub?
the tread pattern looks pretty good, but have you looked at the Kumho Road Venture MT KL71's?

i have these tires on now, very nice tire. Went mudding today, i spun but never felt any where near getting stuck, i was only in 2 wheel drive. Great in snow as well.
