Hi, just bought 06 TB with 18" aftermarket rims, the rims have no center caps, the diameter is 88.9/ 3.5 diameter and 1" deep. I bought 4 chevy 88mm/ 3.25 caps that are too small. My question/ thought is: using 3.5" outer diameter pvc cut to 1" length, inserting this tubing into rim then adding 88mm/3.25 cap, also the tires are 275/65r18, they rub wheel housing, if I get 265/65r18 will this resolve the rubbing, any ideas, comments or suggestions? thanks for all responses to my questions!!!
