I’m not the right guy for this thread, so I’m gonna bow out and let some other members help you. Best of luck.

You're right, I'll figure it out myself. Thanks anyways.

The fuel pressure requirements of these vehicles is pretty exacting and requires specific testing to determine whether it is within specification or not. What has been attempted to be communicated thus far is that testing will confirm where the problem lies. Gauges are needed to tell the difference between the 60psi that is required and the 55psi that would be problematic for the poppet nozzle SCFI setup that was originally in the 98 thru mid-02 s-series trucks as well as when looking for leak-down results. Also, I can only assume we are discussing a range of vehicle years here since the vehicle has not been mentioned yet...

Since it was brought up, --> Sticky HOW TO: Check regulated fuel pressure, pump max output, & leakdown

And an apropos quote from the sticky:

Idk what other way I can say that I bought a gauge...and I got 15 psi at the schrader valve...I don't understand why everyone on here wants to act like I'm not listening...thanks for the help guys wtf. Since reading is free, why don't some of you go back and read the entire thread before posting and claiming that info is missing when it's been stated previously, just because you didn't take the time to go back and find it is not on me.
I'll try this one more time, my key-on pressure is 15 psi at the schrader valve and holds for 10 min at least during leakdown test...what's my next move? Dbl check all the grounds associated with the fuel system?

I was trying to help you. First you stated:

"I popped the line off the outlet side of the fuel filter and confirmed good pressure back there"

then you said:

"Well to be honest i didn't actually hook anything up back at the filter"

I can't work with this kind of conversation. You sound frustrated and we help people fix their trucks here so I will try one more time but you are going to have to do your part.

Read the sticky on testing fuel pressure and report back. You have completed step one at the schrader and you definitely have a fuel pressure problem. Now you have to do a fuel gauge test at the fuel filter. This will tell you if the problem is in the tank or the intake plenum. Once we know that then we go to the next step.
