Headlight switch
Hello all!I have to say this is the best site I have been to when it has to do with blazers. I have been checking this site out of a few months now. I have wanted to say hello but never got around to it till now. I find myself in need of a little help. I have a 1995 2dr. 4x4 with a little problem. I was driving home tonight when the headlights started going demthem they would get bright again.I checked them outwith the brights on and it was doing the same thing. So I stoped to check it out. When I got stoped I could smell wires burning. Istarted lookingfor the problem. I pulled the dash apart the headlight switch was hot. I could not touch it. so I shut them off. waited for a few min and it cooled down. When I turned the lights back on all I got was parking lights. No low or high beams. I am hoping the switch is bad but my luck its not and I will spend a lot of money throwing parts it till I get the right one. If anyone has any idea what my problem is pleaselet me know.. Iwork nights and I dont want tostart driving the wifes DODGE to work. I hate that car. I have checked the fuses and they are ok. I checked the relay to and it checked out. Thanks for your help- mroink2115

RE: Headlight switch
When you had the switch out did the wire look burnt? If they didn't look that bad, just throw a new switch in there and see how it does. When the hl switch went out in my s10, my headlights would keep going in and out. I put a new switch in and it solved all problems.
