Hey everyone. My boyfriend and I are looking for a 350 motor for my '89 Jimmy and also a tranny.

Ive been looking on craigslist and everything is priced too high so far. We do not want to spend over $300 for the motor.

expect to pay more than that for a decent running engine and tranny

That is where I found my engine. I would be supprised if you find one that cheap. You may be better off buying a wrecked vehicle and pulling what you need.
