98 Chevy Blazer 4x4 LT
i live near Sacramento,ca. My Chevy has been sitting for about a month now, the engine was running very rough. long story short engine needed a tune up, but now i have white smoke coming from behind the engine on the passenger takes about 3-5 min for the white smoke to become visible. i cant seem to get any mirrors or anything of the such to look . i do know that there is a transmission issue as well as a leak. retired mechanic says it smells like burning transmission oil doesn't smell like anything to me . transmission oil is non existant on the dipstick. however i always thought that white smoke meant that coolant is burning. about a year ago i changed the intake manifold gasket that was leaking coolant. do i need to redo that or possible that head gaskets are blown? or is there a hose that i am missing that can be leaking?
