I have searched on here and found a couple threads that helped a little but my problem is a little different. I have a 1999 Blazer that I bought and did an engine swap because it was seized solid. After the swap it started up right away with no problems with the engine. However, it gets stuck in park and need to click the cable forward to unlock it. The park light indicator never comes on though. Also when I am shifting down through drive is tricky to light up on the indicator. When driving the transmission goes into reverse and the lower gears but will not go into drive. Any suggestions on what could be causing this? The shifter cable isn't loose. Also on a side note I bought it from a transmission shop who said the transmission is fine?
