OK GUYS, I'M NEW AT THIS AND WOULD LIKE THE GOOD OLE AMERICAN ASSISTANCE. I HAVE A 95 4X4 BLAZER WITH THE 4.3 VOTEC ENGINE. THE PROBLEM IS IT SHUTS DOWN FOR NO APPARENT REASON AT ANY SPEED OR CONDITIONS, I DO NOT HEAR THE FUEL PUMP WORKING WHEN I TURN THE KEY ON AT FIRST STARTUP, SOMETIMES IT WILL FIRE UP UP AFTYER AWHILE. I LIKE TO CHECK OUT THE FUEL PUMP RELAY FIRST BEFORE PULLING THE TANK, IF I COULD JUST LOCATE THE DARN THING. I SEE 3 RELAYS JUST BELOW THE COWL UNDER THE HOOD, ON THE RIGHT SIDE AREA. IS ONE OF THESE THE RELAY I NEED? AND ANYWAY TO FIND A WIRING SCHEMATIC FOR THIS FUEL SYSTEM WIRING. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

the three under the hood are the ac relays. Inside the glove compartment, there is a panel that y9ou can remove for access to the fuel relays.

 

I'm assuming that you have the engine with VORTEC written on top, this is the CPI engine, there were also a few 95 TBI engines. You may want to check the fuel injection spider assembly. I had the problem of the fuel injector pressure leaking down, never stalled out like in your case, but didnt like to restart right away. Your best bet is to go to the parts store and get a Haynes or Chilton's manual for your Blazer, youll use it many times. The fuel pump relay is shown in the schematics, along with a fuel pump prime connector, and a fuel pump pressure switch. It doesnt give the exact location though unfortunately, just the general location ( after ignition, but before fuse box). The fuel pump relay is on the orange wire coming out of the fuse block, fuse 9. I think it is something other than the relay though, they generally just go bad, not intermittently work.
