Default Turn Signal Question

Hey guys, I'm a little bit confused on whether my turn signal reflector is supposed to light up. I'm specifically talking about 95-97 blazers here. We have the bumper turn signals, but the reflector right beside the headlight in a composite headlight setup, is it supposed to light up? This is probably a dumb question, but I want mine to light up haha.

The yellow part next to the headlight in this picture. The turn signal reflectors.

Mine do... er... did, before the led swap, now they flash with the signals. I have the sealed beams though, but I can't imagine that they would be different.

I wasn't sure if they were just reflectors or they actually did function and light up lol. I wonder what bulb to use.

It's probably a T10.

Edit: Yeah I just checked, it is a T10.
