I am looking for the possibility to order remote keyless door lock in US. Does anyone know about how to and a shop who sells those????

 

What year? And are you sure your blazer has the remote lock option?

 

If it does not have the remote lock option, your best bet would be to get an aftermarket remote keyless entry module installed. Get one with remote start as well for added benefit.

Remote start is not possible in Norway because it is against the Norwegian law to idle for more than one minute... but it would be very cool though

where to buy aftermarket remote keyless entry?? They have to ship worldwide... I have looked on ebay, but gets to many unserious results.

 

lets start with the easy route, a couple of us have found factory keyless in our 94's recently but didnt know it due to not having remotes, look in your glovebox there should be a sticker with a bunch of 3 digit codes look for AU0 or AX3 if you have either of those you already have keyless entry and only need a remote (assuming your receiver is still good) post back with what you find and we can go from there.

 

There are no such codes in my glovebox

Ok next, any chance a junkyard near you has one? If so you could grab the box from one of those and put it in yours (would be underneath the center console) I believe yours should have the wiring so would just be a matter of plugging it in (someone please correct me if im wrong)

 

Since blazer s10 rarely exists in Norway it is a low possibility to find one in a junkyard nearby....

I do not know a lot about the aftermarket ones but I see no reason that would not work, just like anything aftermarket if you are not comfortable wiring it in yourself you may have to find a local shop to do it for you or even ask in the audio/visual section on these forums we have a few installers that hang around they could probably tell you more than I can.
