when i turn on my head lights (starting from left to right) temp gauge maxes out, speedo drops to zero, fule drops to zero, oil presure drops to zero and so does volts

im thinking possible bad ground, i had another car that wold do something similar but it only had dummy lights so the only thing i could notice was the temp and that would take a while for it to max out. i found a ground wire that was partly broken i replaced that and the problem stopped.

what do you guys think

 

Yea sounds like a ground to me. I noticed on a thread on here there was a ground on the dash somewhere that can corrode. I just dont know where though! I need to look at mine and find it.
