need to know how i can get this car to go into loop mode to adjust the timing i was told remove the vacuum line to the distributor but asking for more advice before adjusting i have the timing gun and i need to set it at 14 " or 16" i can see the gauge clearly i cleaned the motor up .

 

thats basically it. pull the vacuum line, hook the gun up to the battery and the #1 cyl spark plug wire and at idle shine the light down to the gauge, twist the distributor to where you need it to be
