Hi, hopefully there might be a bit of advise for me. I have a 1987 s-10 with a really clean engine. Im not too good with cars but before and after its first full service and new cat converter the garage were impressed with it and said all was good (trusted mechanic). Unfortunately there is still something wrong and I cant figure out why. It cuts out from time to time. One moment it drives like a dream then other moments it hardly excelerates, chugs forward super slow and / or cuts out. Its hard for the garage to work it out as they have not been able to witness the problem. I understand there is a common ignition problem in these cars but want to know if I should look out for anything else. Around the time it acts off, the "check Engine" light comes on. I love this car and want it to work, Id love any advise, thanks.
