1990 blazer wont start

i just bought a 1990 chevy blazer. i cant get it to start. i put a new timing chain. set timing as everybody says. i get fuel. i get spark. and compression. can anybody help me????

Have you verified timing? Everything has to be in the right sequence to get the engine to fire.

The cam turns 2 times for every one of the crank, so I would check on that. Remove left bank valve cover, and rotate the engine by hand, as you are coming up on TDC, then you should see the intake valve close as the piston begins its compression stroke. If its the exhaust valve closing, then you are out 180 degrees on cam timing. Its a simple mistake.
