1991 4door s10 blazer rear window release
Hello everyone,
i hope someone can help me .
if i push the window release button , you can a click inside the car at the drivers side (so i think i have power on the relay).
today i tested the actuator at the rear trunk panel , and at the moment my wife pushed the window release button , the fuse blows (just at the time that i was measuring with a voltmeter. the red wire on the connector and the black wire to ground )
so for almost a year if i push the button you hear a click and now at the moment to see if there is power at the actuator the fuse blows , perhaps i did something wrong , i don't know
i hope there is someone that can help me out with this problem
is there a possibility to custom wire the actuator ? for example if i take a regular 12v relay and i install this with new wires from the battery to the switch and to the actuator , so that i bridge the original system and i put an extra fuse to it)
regards and hoping for a bit of feedback

Hey I know it's been a couple months, but if you're still having this issue. . . Sounds like you just need a new relay. Its up under the dash on the left side of the driver foot well. Should be a single relay hanging by itself.
Mine clicked like that and didn't work either, until I put a new relay in. Not sure if that would cause your blown fuse issue. If it still does it after a new relay then you've got a short somewhere.
You could hot wire it, but I'd try to fix what's there already there.
