Exclamation 1991 Chevy Blazer 4.3

Hello i need Help i just bought a Blazer and it is a Gutless wonder yes its a 4.3 liter but it has now power i got to hold the pedal down further than i should and at acceleration from a dead stop it acts like the brakes are being pressed and it is throttle body yes it 4 wheel drive but wow it is gutless I'm putting new plugs in it tomorrow any ideas would be helpful.

sometimes a clogged cat can really limit power. i had a old s10 i used to dread getting on the highway as it was insanely slow, cut it out of there and it was like i put a super charger on it.

what i usually do to check it (if you have a welder) just drill a few 1/4 inch holes in front of the cat on the exhaust pipe that you can easily re-weld. drive it after making the holes and see if that helped any
