1993 blazer problems
Hop on over to a transmission shop, Auto Zone or something similar and get them to put
a little computer on it. That code will tell you whats wrong or real close to it.
Auto Zone doesn't have the good diagnostics reader but in will give you a good roundabout idea of what it is.

There lies the problem nobody has an obd1 reader anymore so I'm shooting in the dark about whats wrong drove it today the SES light came on but it didn't cut off thought it would but it didn't the Truck has 203K miles on it but it still drives like a dream
Why would anyone with an OBD1 vehicle be looking for a OBD1 code reader when it is as close as a paper clip away...?

I had the same issue on mine... while at idle sounded bad...coming to stop needed to keep foot on gas or would die... white smoke coming from exhaust, having the "spider" replaced. (fuel injectors)
I would try to see if you've got a vaccuum leak. Mine had a similar issue after I worked on the 4wd. I must have drained the vaccuum reservoir because it wasn't running well, and if I got the front end on an incline or stopped too hard it would die. Check all of your vaccuum hoses and make sure they're not rotted, cracked, cut or unplugged. That's the quick easy fix; but, hopefully that's it. I've heard that the nipple (for lack of a better term) that's right in the center between the manifold and the firewall is suspect to slipping out of the vaccuum line. Hope it helps!
