Im going to start going to the US for my parts from now on. Everytime I see a price the americans pay for a part, I have to pay double for here. The HELP! brand FPR I bought was 89.99 at Lordco here. Lordco is like a NAPA in BC... My local NAPA gives me a better deal cause Im in there all the time getting stuff for my fleet of freinds cars trucks and vans. I have a passport and the border is only about 10 minutes driving time from me. I get my Milk and meat and cheese and GAS down there already, might as well get parts there too from now on! I also have stuff I order shipped to grandmas house from which I could kick a football back into canada and that saves lots without international shipping. Of course the cheap stuff will come from NAPA cause the dudes there are cool.

Gas for 2.99 a gallon is like 70 cents a litre. The pump across the street from me says 103.9 right now... My bank gives me about 380 for 400 of canadian when we go shopping down in the US.

One more thing I want to comment on.

HOW BIG ARE YOU GUYS CHICKENS!?!?!?! Cause I buy a family pack of chicken breasts there and they look like they got cut from the front of a TURKEY they are so huge and waaaaay cheap too... Same thing with turkeys... On thanksgiving we bought a 28 pound turkey for TWENTY dollars american... TWENTY EIGHT FREAKING POUNDS....! I had to buy a new roaster to fit that bastard in too! Never seen a turkey that big in my life and man was it tasty! And a 15 pound turkey is big in my supermarkets and would cost fifty bucks at least. What do they feed the things???

No its not smuggling, you are allowed to bring 48 dollars worth of junk food stuff across with you back into canada. I dont think there is a limit on actual food food, we but 300 worth of meat and staples sometimes and the border guys dont say anything about it. Not allowed veggies unless its cooked. Not allowed booze or tobacco unless you were in the US for 48 hours or more. Then duty free stores are my best friend! And any expensive electronics you have to take out of the boxes so it looks like you had it when you went down... I like american packaging, its ENGLISH on both sides...

Going INTO the US is a different story.... No meat, no veggies, no tools, no weapons, no anything... And they search the car for an hour sometimes too. And they are not very nice most of the time. Mind you the crossing I use is the most popular for drug smugglers, so they are on edge all the time for that reason alone I bet.
