hi all, i'm new to this forum and needing some help. i bought a 85 blazer about a month ago. It has a crate engine in it with low miles. only problem is it sat for a year or two so now it takes a while to get it to idle and when it does it idles rough and it has no power. i've put sea foam in the gas tank, new cap,rotor button,fuel filter, wires and plugs. and it still half idles and has no power.

has anyone had this problem? any idea what it is? thanks for any replys

 

Was the carb rebuilt when the engine was replaced? Those feedback carbs can be a pain to deal with anyway.

 

dont think so. how would i be able to tell if its the carb?

Rebuild it and see how it runs...
