85 S10 4x4 2.8 Stock Fuel Pressure?

85 S10 4x4 2.8 Stock Fuel Pressure? Anyone know what my fuel pressure is before I pick up a gauge? Stock up to mechanical fuel pump then 3/8 hose to carb.

I put on an Edlebrock intake and 500 CFM performer carb that I already had instead of the recommended 390 cfm Holley. When I get the timing set. It is idling so fast and loud it scares the hell out of me.

On a carb its around 5psi.

With a 500 you have way too much carb and its gonna require some real tuning to get it running right. Most likely gonna have to rejet and change out metering rods.
