86 s10 Ticking noise and clutch issue
Hi, I'm new here. I have a 1986 Chevy S10 Blazer. On the inside it says Tahoe what's with that? Anyway I just got it and we replaced the tie rods and the adjustment sleeve because the inner tie rod was coming out of the adjustment sleeve. On to the real question. I haven't driven it much but I noticed a quite ticking noise only when accelerating. It seems to be coming from the front passenger side. Also when I press the clutch I feel grinding. The grinding isn't so much if shifting to 5th or shifting down. The clutch is supposed to be only a year old. It also doesn't engage until the pedal is almost completely out. Is there a way to adjust it? I appreciate any help. We got it to move from Wa to Ca so I want to make sure it's in tip top shape before the trip.
Welcome to the forums.
It says Tahoe on the side because that was one of the packages that came with the first gen blazers the majority of them are Tahoe. Only difference I know if is the chrome bumpers and the fender flares.
