Question 89 S10 Blazer Tilt Wheel Disassembly - Where do these two pieces go??

Hey all. I found a number of very helpful threads on this subject, and there's a 3 part youtube video someone made a while back going through the whole disassembly on a first generation tilt wheel. Upon removing mine (to fix a very loose tilt wheel assembly), two pieces fell out at one point and I wasn't able to catch or figure out where they came from. I've found an exploded view and can't seem to find the part I'm looking for as they aren't very good resolution and these are small detailed parts. I'll post those links at the bottom as a reference for anyone doing this job in the future, but here is a picture of the two pieces I can't identify.

Another writeup I found

The most thorough writeup w/ no pictures. Very helpful, I found this in another thread on this forum.

Can anybody help me identify where these go? Thank you!

Sorry for the double post

Whoever owned this car before me took the column apart at one point and didn't put it back together correctly. The retaining ring wasn't even installed on the shaft.

I found this image

showing that the triangle shaped piece is the retainer for the main nut. The dude that disassembled this may have just shoved it in there somewhere because it fell out when I was far past that point lol.

I just need to figure out what the small clip is.

Found it! It goes on the bottom of the small white plastic piece with two copper contacts, the key warning buzzer, to hold it in place. Here’s a pic for reference, it must’ve fallen off and just been dangling around until it fell out.

Glad you found it. Was it easy to put them back in?

Yes it was quite easy once taking it apart and as long as you are organized and keep track of how everything goes in. The videos and writeups I shared are very helpful in making sure it's done correctly.
