91 Blazer Question???
I have a 91 blazer that I am shaving and having painted in the near future. The rear glass has a spoiler that I am not fond of. Is there a year or trim of blazer that doesnt have the spoiler, or can I order hinges for a non spoiler blazer? Just wondering. Also If anyone wants the spoiler and doesnt have one I will trade your hinges for my hinges and spoiler. Thanks.

my 93 doesn't have the spoiler.I wish it did though, my back glass is always covered in dust and dirt.

The spoiler was an option. Should be able to obtain a pair of hinges at a junk yard. Mine did not have the spoiler and I added it. Sorry but I do not have the original hinges any more.

You can find the hinges with out a spoiler and put them on. I have a set of each and trade out every now and then. I tend to like the spoiler more cause everybody wants to get rid of it.

be careful when you change the hinges leamangriffin. don't do the "just alittle more" tightening that we all are guilty of, those tempered windows will "pop" without any warning.
demsome is right, you're gonna be cleaning that back window like crazy without the wing on it. i understand you're going for the Brazilian look, but there are some after market companies that make a nicer, sleeker wing for those trucks.
if you just don't like the wing, and want it clean, then shave her bald! good luck with your build, those 1st gen's do look nice shaved smooth.

i never really had a big issue with my '92-maybe because i had this hugh apron (ie: mud flap) that ran from one side to the other, and hung about an inch from the ground, hahahaha! seriously though, it wasn't that bad before i had the apron on it, nowhere near as bad as my 1st gen Blazer that thing would have a dirty back window just driving outta the driveway!
