Default 92 Low on Power/Sluggish

Hey All,

New here and hoping for some advise. I have a '92 2 door 4x4 4.3L with an auto. My issue I'm having is a slightly rough idle and low on power, seems sluggish. Here's the rundown...

New:
Distributor
Cap & rotor (delco)
Wires (delco)
Plugs (delco rapid fire)
TPS
Exhaust (no cat)

Timing set to 0 by the service manual.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!

Just gonna throw some possible answers at you based on my experience. Maybe EGR valve(doubt it but could explain rough idle), PCV, IAC. Didn't see those listed by you but food for thought. Could be a clogged fuel filter too.

I'd say change the fuel filter, maybe test the fuel pressure too.

I would say change the fuel filter, and check your fuel pressure. EGR valve will cause it to fall on it's face, but have seen the filter do the same thing. Had it happen once after driving about 30 miles from home. Was all gussied up for a Dr. appointment 120 miles from home, and had to wheel into a garage, and have a mechanic change the filter for me, and it cost me a sweet $150 for parts and labor to replace the filter, and I had to show him where it was,,,,,,,
