Default 93 Blazer Will Not Start

93 Blazer S10 4.3L CPI (VIN-W) Has been sitting for a few years but was running fine when it was parked. It will start when I spray fuel into the intake but cuts off when that runs out. So I know it is firing but isn't getting fuel.

So far I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel injector (the spider assy under the plenum). I am getting fuel up to the injector but I do not think the the injector is working as it should. With the switch on I get 12v across the leads to the injector. I do not know how much pressure I have on the fuel line.

What will keep the injector from working? I read on another website that there should be a buzzing sound coming from the injector but I haven't heard any such noise. Would not enough pressuse keep it from working?

I would really appreciate any help you all can give me.

I know this is going to sound silly but hit your gas tank and see if its got fuel in the tank. Some times after doing a fuel pump the gas gauge will read it has gas in it but don't . Only learned this from exp . I to did the fuel pump and tank and filter and spider , and it started and i let it run for 20 minutes then shut it off . then started it back up and drove from the shop to our house and it died , I was ready to just give up . Well any way just sharing the stupid things Ive done .

Thanks, but after draining all the old gas and getting everything back together I put 5 gallons in the tank. Also I am getting fuel to the fuel injector.

Wiggle the wires that feed into the plenum to to the injector and see if that changes anything. If the wiggling works, you need to buy a new fuel injector wiring harness, which has the plug and enough wire to feed back through the plenum and solder & heat shrink to the existing wires outside the plenum.

A wiggle of the wires did nothing.

amlarajr01, where is this relay you speak of?

It is behind steering wheel cover. On left side. Thats where it is on my truck and I have a 92. Two relays there.

I'm just shooting from the hip here, but when was the last time you did change spark plugs/wires and distributor cap/rotor? I know you said you had these but they don't just die all of a sudden usually, they slowly die. My dad's ranger was an example, we drove 150K on a set of cheepo spark pluggs and we couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start....well the spark pluggs were all but gone (quite literally) Also for grins ohm out the coil, they too can be quite a hidden gremlin.

Thanks all for your input, but i have found the problem. The wiring harness on the fuel sending unit was bad. Replaced it and it fired right up and is now running great.
