Default 93 s10 Blazer Tahoe LT hub locks are aggrevating me..

This is my first 4x4 vehicle and i dont really understand the hub lock deal. It is also giving me lots of problems because i have a 93 Sonoma with some nice bullets i was gonna put on the blazer but i soon discovered the hub locks....So now im looking at different rims to get for my blazer..and i got looking at the second generation 4x4 rims and was wondering if they would still work? i know the lug pattern is the same but what about the center hub in the fronts?

Are you talking about the locks that you have to get out of your vehicle and turn to make the front engage? I wasn't aware that S10's ever came with them. This is interesting

I'm pretty sure the wheels are just really stuck on there, you don't have to remove the center nut to take off the wheel, just kick it really hard, my 92 s10 pickup was so hard to get off I ended up putting the lug nuts on hand tight and taking a trip around the block a few times (slowly) to break it loose.
