Shoulda got some lower intake gaskets as well, I couldnt get my nuts out ()without pulling the intake too. I suppose its probably possible, but I didnt want to get junk in the new lines wiggling them around back there and prying to get the nut kits out, and its a real bugger to get a wrench on that nut that holds the clamp on back there too. Let us know how it turns out. I also had a bunch of foamy crap built up in the coolant ports in the heads where the coolant SHOULD cross over the back of the intake like it does on the front, but GM made the intake cap those rear ports instead making coolant pool there and not circulate well... And be very careful of that tiny screw on the side of the spider that holds the lines into it - jam some papertowels down the intake runners and oil ports... Use a magnetic screwdriver for that one, or pull the intake in case you drop the screw or bit...

I used marvel spray lube let it sit for 1 HR disconnected the fuel line's (5/8) then used a 3/8"socket 1/4" drive counter clockwise 1/4 turn then clockwise 1/4 then 1/2 turn each way and so on.It worked out ok. the blazer runs like new. Thanks for the help

PS: I also cover the air intake and injector holes with rags then sprayed carb cleaner wiped with rags and blew out with air hose, or you can use an air can.
