Default 94 Blazer EGR removal???

I just bought a 94 Blazer with 137,500 mi.
I need to clean the EGR valve and am having trouble getting it out to clean it !!!
Both bolts are out but how do I wrangle the valve out???
I'm no mechanic, but like to do whatever maintenance I can. (only working part time and money is really tight)

Any tips would be appreciated...
Thanks.

Try tapping on the housing, LIGHTLY. Is yours electronic? I just did mine on sunday. Good luck, made a helluva difference for me. If you have a vortec6 you'll have to take the air intake plenum off.

Aparently it will slide out toward the passenger side. I couldnt get it out either, so I removed the throttlebody and there is lots of room.
