just recently got a ticking sound thought I was low on oil, but I wasn't Is it the lifters? Some thing I have to live with till I tear apart my engine ?? Im sort of bumbed out I just did major work to the engine...

Lower intake manifold gaskets can leak coolant into the oil, (very common with OEM style gaskets). If/when that happens, the oil thins out and will cause one or more lifters to be noisy. When you did "major work" to the engine, did you have the lower intake off? If so, did you use the new style gasket made by Felpro MS98002T? If installed correctly, they will not leak. ...Just a thought
