Default Auto Door Lock Question

I bought a used 1991 S10 Blazer. Are the doors supposed to lock when the ignition is turned on and unlock when it's turned off? It has an aftermarket Clifford Theft System so I'm wondering if that's what doing it. It's very annoying.

Default RE: Auto Door Lock Question

I have never heard of a 1st gen having auto locks... Sounds like a function of the aftermarket alarm setup.

Default RE: Auto Door Lock Question

it is the clifford alarm system. all dei electronics products do that. if you want it to stop you should be able to program your alarm setup to make it so where that happens. http://www.directed.com/is the website you can find all the owners manuals for clifford products.
