the crank shouldn't move right? I mean besides rotating. and it will fit my truck. I found a 2002 motor with 600 miles on it. the guy want's $850 fir it. I know it won't work for me with out a lot of work. just thought I'd put the word out to the rest of you guys. the owner's name is Troy. 509-456-7777 here in Spokane WA. he also has thr tranny $400 and transfer case for $250.

If you did the newer vortec swap your best bet would be to find a wrecked truck you can strip everything from that you need. That way you dont forget anything or end up with something you dont know what to do with. And you can possibly here it run/drive before you make a decesion. I personaly want to do that kind of swap on my 95 just for the tuning capabilitys. But I plan on keeping my 95 for many years so for me, at least in my eyes its practacle to do a swap/ tune/ build like that

i agree cochran, but finaces forbid me from getting the 2002 setup. so this weekend my son and I will be getting the 95 motor. after I get my bug done the blazer is next on the roster. I hate being poor.
