Brake Question...Again
#11
HI ALL,
SORRY been a while...driving the blazer around
Finally got brake booster and master cylinder swapped and good braking although I think still soft but not dangerous like before.
Also got tune up done and wired firing order correct (ouch) and I posted last that it was idling high on tach...took to mechanic and he said idle was fine and if it was truly above 2100 rpms is I could barely hold the brake while i put it in park. He said probably just the tach.
Since then brakes work but at slow speed SUPER LOUD squeal unlike a brake indicator as pads are new????
Also small clunk at low speed stopping and without looking guy who knows said could be A arm bushings. Commuting with wife and riding train home till I can get it checked out.
Lastly any tell tale signs of tranny or differential needing servicing...I swear when I am driving I hear the whom whom of the drive shaft but I could be wrong.
Still have driver side window regulator if anyone needs it.
peace
david
