Default Car Stolen =(

Well, I'm not very active on the Blazer forums. I joined a long time ago when I first started working on my car (then I bought a bike and haven't had the time). My 1991 Blazer s-10 has always been faithful to me then one night some jerk off broke into her and stole it right outside of my house! [:@].

Anyways, they busted my steering column up pretty well to start the truck. I don't really know anything about cars or my steering column and I was wondering if anyone knew of a decent diagram for me. I've figured out how to start it and shut it off. I'm trying to restore it to the condition it was in before it got stolen. As of now when I put the key in it doesnt turn at all. I can pull a metal sliding rod toward the steering colum and it starts, I just really need a diagram.

The car theif took all of my school books and pretty much every last thing I had in the car.. even my burnt cds. He even stole my spare =( . Ohh and also, apparently when you get your car stolen the city asks you to pay THEM $200 to get your car back.

That sucks about having your blazer stolen, I feel for you!!! As far as a diagram I don't have one but I am pretty sure someone does and will post up with it!!

It's bad enough having your truck broken in to and unthinkable to have it stolen!
I don't have the diagram either but you should let us know about the options like tilt or not, cruise, wiper delay etc.
It might be a lot easier to get a complete column from the auto wreckers and just change it as a unit, steering wheel, wiring and all.

Yeah, I've actually swapped the full column out in my truck TWICE, and its really not that bad of a job. Will probably run you a lot less headache than restoring your old one.
