i worked on it today .. everything went well. i unbolted the starter and tried pulling it out and down. i didnt come all the way out of where it connects to the flywheel. and i couldn't pull it any further back there was no clearence. i tried twisting it and moving it around and NO LUCK. i bolted it back in. going to have one of my buddies help me out this week .. but boy is it a pain in the ***.
anyone has done this b4 feel free to give input
thanks again

Remove the torque converter cover (4 bolts I think), then that will give you the clearance to get the starter out.. And you may have to go through the pass side tire wheel well to get to the two wire terminals.. The worst part for me was the wire terminals...
haha ya my starter died in a bowling ally parking lot at like midnight lol luckily my dad was still up and i called him up and me and him dropped the starter out that night only took like 30min wasnt too bad cept it didnt really wanna come out right away. went back the next morn and put the new one in from auto zone.
