i just changed my plugs,distributor cap, rotor and coil and it went away so try doing or getting a tune up and see if it disappears

any idea where I can get the codes for an 84 s-10 blazer? Troublecodes.net goes from 82-83 then right to 86. Also, can i use the paper clip method?

Yes, you can use the paper clip method.
When I describe these older computer vehicles as "archaic", I am describing the vague and ambiguous conclusions of the codes.
For example... if you get an oxygen sensor code, don't go changing the oxygen sensor... figure out what's causing the code to be thrown in the first place... like a rich running engine or a vacuum leak.

Where is the 12 pin dlc located exactly? I located one on the passanger side but it only has 4 pins.
