when i turn my lights on, sometimes i hear a noise and then my lights flicker on and off, i think theres a shortage but im not sure...could anyone help me out?

1988 s-10 blazer, and the temp gauge, the oil gauge, the speedometer, the odometer, and the battery gauge.

Still a little less info then I like to have, but sounds like possible head light switch. The contacts in the switch could be getting dirty, and that load causes the terminals to stop passing current. When it happens try turning the switch on and off rapidly to see if you can temporarily clean those contacts. If that works replace the switch. Also when it is happening see if your parking lights do this also. If they do then defiantly replace the switch. HTH Korey.
