Unhappy Dead temperature gauge ?

Just when I thought I was done, she throws me a monkey wrench. My temperature started with the needle bouncing between 0 and 195. The connector is OK and the tan/pinkish ground wire is a firm attached. So I got a AC Delco sending unit put it and now nothing. What do I need to do next ? I'm working by myself here.

As if none of us have ever done something like that. Glad you were able to find the problem.
