Does the knock sensor on a 93 4.3 between Cylinders #3 and #5 have a wire coming out of it, or attached to it in any way Or does it just sit there?

 

yes it does....

if its a sensor,its going to have a wire coming out of it lol. this isnt a wireless cellphone. or maybe im reading this wrong.


should be a single wire coming out of it.

When my Nikon comes, I will take pics of my no-wire knock sensor between cyls. #3 and #5 (fdo I have those numbers right.) And I have yet to be able to get the spark plug wire boot off of Cyl #5. It is melted on...............

My wire is missing!

Ok, still got two more replies to read..

I put my own radiator in today. They had one from a 94 Astro. So I got that one up in there.

 

I should mention that I did not know this. This is my first time even SEEING a konck sensor.. much less having an issue with it, or its wiring.

Seriously, my truck has NO wire, or it came off and now I can't find it.

Also, who wants to see how I got the 94 Astro radiator up in there, with its taller neck.........................
