Engine coolant vanishes? (yes another thread)
#11
@RetroBlazer No, i was kinda panicked about the coolant gushing out and stuff that i tried to get it back in as soon as possible with of course taking caution of not cross-threading it.
However when feeling and looking around the temp sensor i couldnt find any leakage.
I recently havent seen any puddles anymore but i did remember the day it formed a puddle was when i had a parking spot that was making the car tilt backwards a bit. the front wheels were about 5 to 10 centimeters higher up then the rear wheels.
*update*
looks like the reservoir is leaking a bit... garage popped the hood, looked for a few seconds and pointed "look, there."
i feel stupid for not seeing that, i thought it was a dried up spillage... anyway, if the back seam of the reservoir is leaking indeed i would definately see a puddle when i let it sit tilted back because more fluid is pressing against the leak.
Probably drain it soon and re-fill to at least clean the fluid as well...
