engine option thoughts
assuming I built a relay/driver circuit to handle the increased current...
is there any reason my '94 CPI ECM couldn't handle driving 6 injectors in a mpfi/batch fire configuration instead of that cpi unit? (obviously with a retune)
option b) what about using a 4bbl intake and somthing like a holley 4bbl tbi unit? (assuming I can buy one without the onboard ecm)
I'm fed up with nobody having cpi remans for a '94 (especially ones that work) so I'm investigating my options to abandon the cpi, but I really don't want to go carb.

when I said holly 4bbl.. I meant something like their terminator EFI TBI units.. but as far as I can tell, they don't sell them w/o the standalone controller, so i think that's a no go. I agree completely, I do NOT want to go carb!! all though, my '72 Monte Carlo runs awesome with a holley 650cfm carb..but I don't care for dealing with a carb in the winter.. lol
I'm going to try replacing the Fuel pressure regulator and see if that fixes my CPI issues.. if it doesn't.. I'm not sure what to do next.. nobody has a early style spider in stock... I'm starting to think a FiTech or holley Sniper setup may be the solution.. just abandon the CPI and stock ECU all together.. my gauges are independent.... and it would just be a matter of making sure my 4L Shi++y E is taken care of...
