Default Fuel injectors or computer?

Hey guys.
So my blazer is having issues. Its an 88 blazer with a 4.3 TBI. We are at a total loss as to what is wrong with it. So for starters, the fuel injectors are acting weird. I think they just need to be cleaned, as they sometimes just drip, or dont put enough pressure out to spray. Another thing wrong is the timing. We got a timing light, and checked it, and it was wayyy off, fixed it, and it wouldnt start at all. So we readjusted it back close to where it was. But then the problem of stalling started again. It stalls out/dies when you try to shift into reverse or drive, randomly. Itll work once, then stall the next time. I just dont know if its a computer that needs to be reflashed, or fuel injectors, or what. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue, or at least if you guys knew what it could be. It was doing the stall thing when I first bought it, and it mostly stopped until after we had messed with it.
I also should add that when I bought it about 2-3 weeks ago, it had been sitting for 3 years. We have already done a tune up and new fluids and everything, so I know its not anything related to that stuff. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

I doubt it's the computer. Did you check the timing with the wire unplugged under the carpet?

Fuel Pressure needs to around 11 PSI. Fuel Injectors could be faulty. Injectors are around $65 each. Checking fuel pressure on a TBI takes installing adapters somewhere in the fuel system as there is no test port.

I just ordered injectors from rockauto. And yes, I checked the timing with the wire under the carpet unplugged. I was wondering, is there any possibility of anything else? Like, a sensor somewhere gone bad?

It comes down to Fuel, Spark or timing. You have spark and timing is ok. Something in the fuel delivery system. Is there any difference between when the engine is hot or cold. If the O2 sensor is faulty the EGR could be open when it should be closed. Or the EGR is leaking, and exhaust gas is going in the intake at idle. EGR should not function when the engine is cold (Open Loop) Once the engine is warm the EGR should function above a certain RPM. (Closed Loop)

Im not really sure temp-wise exactly, because the temp guage doesnt work, but when i drive it somewhere, and start it again soon after shutting it off, itll start much easier. Otherwise, it takes a couple cranks to start it after sitting overnight. But it always starts though. I usually have to revv the engine a little so it doesnt die immediately after starting
