Fuel Smell, stumbling and loss of power

Fuel Smell, stumbling and loss of power
I have a 93 S-10 Blazer 4x4 vin 'w'. After driving for 5-10 minutes when I stop and take off again I get loss of power and engine starts to stumble. I can get it to limp over to a sidestreet sometimes to restart it. It seems to do ok if I shut it off and restart it but it repeats. The fuel smell is continual once it is warmed up. This has become a hazard to drive especially on busy streets. People get pissed if I 'stall' them for a few seconds. Could it be too much fuel pressure?=90psi. Please help!

You have 90 psi of fuel pressure at the schrader valve? Yeah, that's more than a bit high. It's supposed to be in the 58-60 range KOEO.
You need to check the fuel pressure regulator under the plenum to start with. You also need to stop driving until you get this fixed as you're killing your catalytic converter with every mile. Once you get the fuel problem sorted, you'll also need to pull and clean your EGR valve (reinstalling with a screened gasket from the HELP! section) and pull and clean your IAC valve.

Rechecked the fuel pressure. It is 60 p.s.i.. I have been told by a few people that the engine is losing compression so I am considering selling it for a few $$.
