Hello again, 1987 s10 blazer 2.8L 4x4
i need a little help, i looked at alot of threads and no one had the same problem.. my gauges are not reading right... when i turn my headlights on the seatbelt light comes on and my gauges freaks out and the oil pressure gauge reads low..(not right) the battery gauge doesn't read right and the fuel goes down when the light comes on.... when i turn the dimmer dial the temp gauge goes all the way up and the volt gauge goes all the way down and same with the oil and the gas gauge...? what to check first?

 

Had a similar problem on my 83. There was a ground wire on the very bottom left side of the dash board. There should be one screw. Should be easy to find

 

oh thanks... abig84 you're my hero... lol that was it, it was loose!!!!!

 

now the oil pressure gauge wont work wtf mate?
