GF652 in-line fuel filter

Where is that GF652 in-line fuel filter located on a 1991 Blazer S10 4.3L w/TBI, A.C., auto., 4X4 ?

It looks like that is just the regular fuel filter that goes with the blazer. I think the GF652 is specific to ACDelco. On my truck the filter is bolted to the frame about halfway back. You'll have to get underneath the car to see it. There is a possibility that the filter is black but more often than not it is just your plain metal.

To get it off you'll need to loosen the bolt holding it to the frame after using 2 wrenches to get the fuel lines off. There is gonna be gas inside of it and in the lines still though, so maybe wrap a paper towel or two around the ends as your pulling it out.....


I guess it would help to let you know its on the driver's side of the truck.

Yeah, and on the 93 it's just about under the driver's seat.

Yeah sounds like where it is on the gen2 trucks. The basic procedure is the same to on replacing it. Here is a link to a how-to thread I wrote up on changing the fuel filter.
