Unhappy help me please im so lost

I have a 94 s10 blazer tahoe LT. The fuel pump had given out so i dropped the tank and replaced it, i went to go crank it over and when i did it sounded like it was drowning itself, shortly after it sputtered and shut off. We traced that problem to the fuel reasure regulator so i replaced that and it ran, but it ran like ****. it sounds a little rich and is puffing black smoke i have put new plugs, wires, and im working on putting in a new rotor and distributor cap. If anyone can help me please do!!

Try cleaning the MAF sensor. This thing is used to get the air/flow mixture just right.
