What's your fuel pressure? Fuel pressure regulator working correctly?

I hear that! Last winter was brutal there eh? I couldn't believe all of the caved in roofs on mobiles and RV's out there from all that snow!?!

To have 3 feet of snow in a 24 hour period on TWO different days must have been unreal! some friends up by Fourth of July Pass said they got 5 to 7 FEET of snow in those same snow-storms! That's when mountain living sucks! (imo)

as far as i remember on the TBI engines, you need a fitting to screw inline with the fuel line, so you can attach a fuel pressure gauge.

it sounds like you're a real novice @ this mechanical repair stuff. some of this diagnosis repair work would probably be better off left to someone more knowledgeable. i'm not telling you to not try and learn how to fix your truck, but maybe you should start off with something more inline with your current level of knowledge. 'cause it'll cost you alot more to have someone repairing anything you might have messed up (by accident of course).

Yep, there's an adapter that's basically a length of tubing with a schraeder valve on the side that replaces the fuel filter for checking the pressure. On previous trucks I've also modified the incoming hard line on the engine with a test port like that as well. For a quick static pressure check I'll usually disconnect the rubber line where it comes out of the frame rail up front and connect the gauge there.

I also agree with old skool here, you may want to consult a professional on this, especially if this is your only ride and you _need_ it going.
