How do you replace the transfer case motor on a 93 S10 Blazer 4x4? Does the drive shift have to be removed?

I got the power cable unbolted and all 3 bolts removed but I can't get the motor out.

 

I got it replaced. I removed the plastic housing covering the motor itself of the TC motor and that gave me the hair more clearance I needed to finally wiggle it out. Same with the new one. Removed it, was able to wiggle it in, then replaced the cover.

I got 4hi again... YEAH!! It's never worked this good, going into 4hi, 4lo and back out.
