My horn doesn't work...
#1
Anyone have any idea why my horn doesn't work? I thought maybe it was just because the fuse was missing so I replaced it. The horn still doesn't work.

Have you considered that the horns may be shot? Disconnect the wiring and see if you are getting power to the horns when the horn button is pressed.

If you are getting power when the horn button is pressed then you need a new horn... any auto parts store will sell you one. Be sure to get one with a deep tone.

Thanks for the info guys. I won't have a chance till Monday to check if its getting power to it. I did notice a clicking sound coming from under the dash when I press the button, any idea what that is? Oh, and there are two horns under the hood, is this normal?

I think the horn relay is under the dash. And yes, it is normal from the factory to have 2 horns under the hood.

The problem ended up being a disconnected wire I didn't notice and the horn isn't wired to the steering wheel.
There's a white button on the dash that I pushed when I bought the truck to see what it did (luckily it was white and not red, so my truck didn't explode. Don't push the red button!!!!). The button didn't do anything. I didn't think anything else of it since it wasn't something that was stock. When I replaced the horn fuse I didn't even think to try that button. I kinda want to figure out how to rewire it to the steering wheel button because its easier to get to, but oh well. At least it works.
